One of the best crepes and galettes I’ve ever tasted ! The dough of buckwheats has deep savory taste and baked in the perfect way. I tried “la Loriette ”as lunch and “l’Albator”as the dessert.the ingredients are fresh and very tasty. The service was good enough( bit slow but in France we have to be patient..to get something good ;)
Galettes according to style and very good. We really wanted to try the typical Breton dish "kig-ha-farz", but it is only available in the cold seasons. It would have been nice if that had been clear beforehand.
We chose the restaurant from it‘s rating. Our first impression was: small and you sit very tight. But when „les galettes“ came (we had Starsky&Hutch and Clark Kent), we were blown away: fan-tas-tic!!!! We took Crêpes Panthère Rose as desert - and again, it was super-great. So: if in Rennes, it should be „les Bêtises“!!!
It is a really good experience with all stuffs. I choosed Galette toasted chicken with soft cream and my friend tried No. 58 who consists of steak, cheese and onion. Don't think I've ever seen 3 people work so hard in a restaurant. They tried to accommodate everyone one way or other. Explained to me that only way things could work was if I was finished in 1 1/2 hours. Explained same to a couple who also accepted. We all had time for savory and sweet crepes. Never felt rushed. They make one feel welcome. Go out of their way.
